Ashvin is an Oscar nominee for Little Terrorist, winner of twenty-four top prizes in over two hundred international film festivals including an honorable mention at BAFTA/LA. Two-time National award winner for his Kashmir series, Inshallah, Football, and Inshallah, Kashmir, Ashvin has also directed Road to Ladakh, Dazed In Doon, The Forest, the UNHCR commissioned I Am Not Here and 4 Daughters in Kashmir. His latest feature film, No Fathers in Kashmir was released to critical acclaim in both India and the UK. Ashvin began working as an actor & director in theatre and founded one of the earliest digital post-production studios in India. He is a voting member of the European Film Academy and a TEDx speaker.
